Armed Robbers Breaks in Gala Bingo Club

U.K. based Gala Bingo Club located in Lakeside become one of the victims of an armed robbery recently. A group of five suspicious individuals all men, hooded with knives as weapons forced their way in into Gala Bingo Club several days ago.

When the robbery happened, the gaming establishment's employees were already closing the bingo club for the night and counting the club's earnings for that day.

One of the authorities that are assigned to the case, Detective Sgt. David Bishop said that one of the criminals in the group jumped over the reception desk of the club after the group entered Gala and threatened Gala Bingo Club's employee that are assigned to manned the front desk in the reception area.

The robbers managed to get away fom the bingo establishment with over 20,000 UK Pounds (equivalent to $37,000 dollars). The only good thing with the whole incident is that no one is seriously hurt, especially the employees in the club that night when the robbery took place.

They were only merely shaken up and scared by the whole incident. Authorities said that the robbers fled the scene aboard a blue Daewoo Leganza as their get-away vehicle.
